For the first time in years, I'm listening to my body instead of fighting it.

I was trying to do it all — work, quality time with my husband and family, my sport dogs, and excelling in the sports we do together. I was exhausted and not meeting my goals. At my age, I've learned that my energy is not limitless and that I have to be more intentional about where I direct it. Working with Karen has helped me approach my health and sport goals with focus, self-compassion, and patience. Now I'm consistently moving forward in a way that fits my life and my energy level — and I'm having fun as I go.

I knew why exercise mattered. I just couldn't make it stick — I'd try, fall off, and feel defeated all over again. Learning to approach myself with self-compassion, and to see setbacks as information instead of failure, changed everything. That mindset shift was the missing piece. Now I feel more energized, tackle work and home projects with ease, and slip into clothes that used to feel tight.
